About the Journal

Rumoh: Journal of Architecture is a peer-reviewed academic journal published by the Department of Architecture, Universitas Muhammadiyah Aceh. The word Rumoh, derived from the Acehnese language, means “house,” reflecting the journal’s role as a scholarly platform in the field of architecture. This journal has been in continuous publication since 2016 in print and has been accessible online since 2021. Rumoh is published twice annually, in June and December. It publishes original research articles, case studies, literature reviews, technical reports, and special issue contributions in the disciplines of architecture, landscape architecture, interior design, urban and residential design, and environmental architecture.

Since 2022, Rumoh: Journal of Architecture has been accredited by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia as a SINTA 5 journal, affirming its commitment to advancing national scholarly communication in architectural research.
